With Pre-Order, you can purchase the latest items added to our store in advance of them arriving with us.
Your Pre-Order is prioritized (at no additional charge); meaning that as soon as the product arrives with us, we can wrap it straight back up; ready for collection via Click & Collect or dispatch to you — it often never even hits the stock room shelves!
With Prelaunch, the date when we expect to receive the product ourselves is still a little too hazy to be confident in accepting Preorders.
So, instead, you can submit your email address for the item you are interested in, and we will email you as soon as stock arrives in the system.
Estimated Delivery & Collection Dates are given on Pre-Order and Pre-Launch products. They are for indicative purposes only and can change at any time without notice.
The dates we provide are based on information given by our suppliers. Whenever we get updated information from our suppliers we will endeavor to update the Estimated Delivery & Collection Dates provided on product pages.
Hassle free returns
If there’s a problem with something you purchased from us, you can either bring it to our store or ship it back. Ship returns via Ground UPS or insured US Mail (we do not accept CODs). We will refund shipping costs on damaged or incorrect merchandise. Merchandise returned that appears used will be subject to a restocking fee. (Labor fees are not refundable, i.e., custom built wheels.)
Returns over $100 must have a return authorization number clearly marked on the outside of the package or the item will be refused. A return authorization number can be obtained by phone or e-mail.
Brand:Terratrike
Code:TerraTrike GTS E+ Orange
The TerraTrike GTS E+ is a sport-touring electric recumbent trike built for riders who want a lively, efficient ride with the confidence of three wheels and the smooth boost of Bosch mid-drive assist. Its 7000-series aluminum frame keeps the ride lightweight and responsive while helping damp road vibration, making it a great choice for commuting, rail trails, and long days in the saddle. Powered by a Bosch Performance Line motor paired with a 400Wh battery, the GTS E+ delivers natural-feeling pedal assist that’s perfect for rolling terrain, headwinds, and longer distances—without sacrificing the “real ride” feel recumbent riders love. An 11-speed drivetrain gives you the range to spin comfortably at speed or gear down for climbs, and Shimano hydraulic brakes add confident control in all conditions. Comfort is touring-ready: the breathable Sport Touring seat is designed for hours of riding, with a dialed fit range and adjustability so you can fine-tune your position (listed X-seam 37"–47", seat recline 45°–65°, seat height ~15"). Handling stays predictable and nimble with direct steering and a tight turning radius (listed 8'8"), while Schwalbe Tryker tires and deep rims help keep the trike tracking confidently on paved paths and smooth hardpack.
If you’re shopping for a premium Bosch e-trike that blends speedy sport touring vibes with all-day recumbent comfort, the GTS E+ is a strong fit—especially for riders who want something lighter than many e-trikes (listed 52.5 lb) while still supporting real-world use (listed 280 lb combined load limit).
The TerraTrike GTS E+ is a sport-touring electric recumbent trike for riders who want a lighter, quicker feel than many e-trikes—without giving up the stability and comfort that make trikes so confidence-boosting.
Sporty comfort riders who want to cruise faster and farther with less effort.
Rail-trail + paved path regulars who want stable handling and predictable control.
Commuters/errand riders who want Bosch mid-drive assist for headwinds, bridges, and daily mileage.
Riders who value lighter weight and responsive steering in an electric trike.
Bosch mid-drive assist: smooth, natural pedal feel—great on rolling terrain and into wind.
11-speed gearing: gives you range for both speed and climbs.
Hydraulic disc brakes: strong, confidence-inspiring stopping power.
Sport-touring fit: adjustable X-seam range (37"–47") and seat recline so you can dial in comfort.
Ride surface: best on pavement and well-packed paths. If you want rough gravel/trail chatter and maximum compliance, an all-terrain/suspension model may suit better.
Transport/storage: recumbent trikes take more space than a standard bike—plan vehicle and storage accordingly.
Fit at the ends of the range: if you’re near min/max X-seam, a professional setup helps (boom length, cleats, seat angle).
Longer rail-trail days
Fitness rides with less joint strain
Touring-style cruising and weekend adventures
Commuting with stability at stops
Choose the GTS E+ if you want sportier handling + Bosch assist + all-day recumbent comfort in a lighter-feeling electric trike. If your priority is maximum off-road capability or ultra-compact storage, you’ll be happier in a different platform.

X-seam is the distance from your lower back to the soles of your feet when seated with legs extended. Recumbent trikes use this (not inseam) to set the boom length.
Sit on the floor with your back flat against a wall.
Put on your riding shoes.
Legs straight out in front of you.
Place a book/box flat against the bottoms of your feet.
Measure from the wall to the front edge of the book/box.
That number (in inches) is your X-seam.
X-seam range: 37" – 47"
At full pedal extension, your knee should have a slight bend (never locked out).
Your hips should not rock side to side while pedaling.
You should be able to spin smoothly without feeling cramped at the top of the pedal stroke.
Boom length: primary adjustment for X-seam.
Seat position/recline: fine-tunes comfort and reach (more reclined can feel “longer”; more upright can feel “shorter”).
If you’re near 37" or 47", or if you have knee/hip sensitivity, a shop fit helps set boom length + cleat position for comfort and efficiency.
