TerraTrike trikes are sized by X-seam (not inseam). Your X-seam determines whether the boom/seat adjustment will fit you comfortably.

What is X-Seam?

The distance from your lower back to the soles of your feet when seated with legs extended.

How to measure your X-Seam

  1. Sit on the floor with your back flat against a wall.

  2. Put your riding shoes on.

  3. Extend your legs straight out in front of you.

  4. Place a book/box flat against the bottoms of your feet (like a “footplate”).

  5. Measure from the wall to the front edge of the book/box.

  6. That measurement (in inches) is your X-seam.

E.V.O. fit range

  • X-Seam range: 35" – 46"

Quick fit check after adjustment

  • At full pedal extension your knee should have a slight bend (never locked out).

  • No hip rocking while pedaling (rocking usually means the boom is too far out).
